The problem can be linked to any underlying medical issue like pelvic inflammatory disease, fibroids, and abnormal tissue growth that is present outside the uterus.

Menorrhagia

Endometriosis is characterized by abnormal bleeding when the tissue found in the uterus starts growing outside the body. This problem can trigger in fallopian tubes, ovaries, and other pelvic cavities. Some of the signs & symptoms are:

  • Infertility
  • Pain during sexual intercourse
  • Painful menstruation or dysmenorrhoea.
  • Heavy menstrual flow
  • Painful bowel movement.
